Greatsword is a Colossal Sword that scale primary with Strength and Dexterity. This is one of the most popular weapons in the game. Its masive size grants an excellent physical guard, and allowing you to use it as a shield. It’s infusable and Can be buffed by Magic or Consumables, also it can be found early in the game without having to fight bosses.

Altought it’s heavy and has high strength requirement, especially for early game, but if you choose the right talisman and combine it with Lion Claw Ash of War, it will turn you into an unstoppable force that can deal large amount of poise damage to easily stagger the enemy.
